Two Garrett County teams will be competing at UMBC this year. Southern Middle and Bloomington.

Last year, Southern Middle WON the Champions Award and went on to play in Atlanta Georgia.

Combine your LEGO skills with the ancient sport of Sumo Wresling to construct a Sumo Wrestling Robot. The robot rules are simple, and the competition is fun. We have tons of LEGO and lots of helpers. Come at 1:00pm and start building. At 3:30 change into your diapers (just kidding) and go head to head with other Sumo Robots.

Teams with a GEARS member play for free, or the fee is $10 per outside team. Family groups make great teams.
