On April 12, Team 1629 took a few memebers and Meshach to the town of Tunkhannock (near Scranton PA) to compete in an off-season event. It was run in the gym of the local high school.
There were more than 24 teams competing and we had a blast.
In the end, Meshach was chosen by MOE (team 365) to compete in the eliminations (Thanks guys).
It was a rough and tumble competition, and by the time we were eliminated in the third match of the semi-finals, most of the robots on our alliance had pieces hanging loose :)
The location of the competition reminded us a LOT of Oakland, and just re-affirmed that we could run a competition like this....
