This Tuesday was the final night of the 4-H Robotics Explorer Series at GEARS. The participants started out building a Tank-Bot, then they learned how to write simple programs, then how to teach the bot how to escape a maze.
On our final night, the teams converted their Tank-Bots into Sumo Wrestling robots and wrote programs to compete in a three foot Sumo Ring (Dohyo).
In this pic, the kids are having a great time with the parents looking on. They literally had to drag them away. Who knew learning could be so much fun?
