Seven teams from around Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia attended the November SuGO Competition at the Garrett Engineering And Robotics Society (GEARS) facility in Accident MD. Teams constructed their own custom LEGO robots and then faced off against each other on a mini-Sumo ring. The winners of the event were the Taylor family team (called the “Taybots”) from Accident MD. Close runner-up was the rookie Wade family team from WV (called the “Mountaineers”). The next SuGO even is scheduled for December 2nd. For more information visit SuGO.GEARSInc.org.
