As part of Senator Barbara Mikulski's education tour of the state of MD, she visited the GEARS center and saw demonstraions of our technology/robotics programs. The Senator interacted with student members of each of the four FIRST Championship teams who recently returned from the WORLD competitions in St. Louis. See picture below.

In the picture with Senator Mikulski are members from NeXT GEN FLL team (971 Red), G-FORCE FTC team (2818 Yellow), Techno-Clovers FTC Team (4240 Green) and GaCO FRC Team (1629 Blue).

The Senator also had fun competing in a SuGO (Sumo wrestling LEGO Robot) match, and firing off the mini-bot from Team1629's FRC robot.
